How I Spent My Sunday: Yoga, Meditation, and Family Time

Hi Everyone ! I hope you are well. Today was Sunday and my Sunday was great. I spend my day well.

I woke up at half 9, brushed my teeth, fed my dog and did yoga for 20 minutes. This is the favourite session of my whole day doing a Yoga. After doing my yoga i took my puppy out for a quick 10 minutes walk, he freshed himself in the garden and then we both came back and i cooked my breakfast. Today i made Poha recipe so basically it’s a western indian dish which is very healthy in the weight loss journey.

Someday i would share that recipe as well. After having my breakfast, i did all the dishes and then quickly went to take shower. First i gave shower to my dog with a shampoo and then i had my shower and quickly got ready ready to go temple. So if you follow me you know every sunday i go ‘Gurudwara’ to take blessing of the God. I feel my God is there with me everytime. So going to temple and gratitude is very important in our human life journey.

Then later quickly head to Temple via car, it’s 25 minutes journey and i spend time well by listening to music. I reached there by half 1 and spend time there almost 30- 35 minutes, i met my uncle and aunt there and they gave me the ‘Langar’ as well so Langar is the free vegetarian meal which is available for everyone.

Once i got free from the temple i came home and fed my puppy it was almost half 3 and took my puppy out again for a pee. Once i came back i talked to my family and then i felt like taking a nap would be great. I thought it’s been ages that i did not take a Nap on sunday afternoon. I took a long nap and woke up around half 6 and then i went to do some grocery shopping with my puppy.

After doing all the shopping i came home, unpacked all the groceries and fold all the dry clothes and put them back in the cupboard.

I had my dinner at 8 and fed my puppy and again took him out for a walk. i came back , did all the dishes and now it’s time to sleep.

So yes overall i had a great relaxing sunday at home.
