Q1. Tell me about yourself ?
Ans. First of all i would like to thank you to interview me for the role of financial advisor in ABC company. I am a confident, knowledgeable and astute Financial Advisor with the skills and qualities to meet the role’s demands, attract new clients and ensure they achieve their financial goals.
I have strong research , analytical thinking and strong management skills and my trustworthiness, transparency and responsive work ethic means i also build long term mutually beneficial relationship with clients.
I have all the relevant qualifications and certifications to meet my compliant obligations as a Financial Advisor and my track record of success means i can positively impact your organization.
If you hire me i will use tried and tested methods to help the company new prospects and take responsibility for my professional development and knowledge so i can offer clients the right products and advise to meet their financial goals.
I look forward sharing additional information in the interview regarding my suitability for this position.
Q2. Why do you want to become a financial advisor?
Ans. There are several reasons why i want to become a Financial Advisor –
- I enjoy the varity of role and how i get to meet people from all walks of life and make a positive difference to their financial roles.
- I also enjoy the responsibility of researching the right financial products for my client’s needs.
- I also want to become a financial advisor because of earning potential and job security.
- Being a high performing Financial Advisor allows me to work alongside talented people who have ambitious goals and because i enjoy responsible investing and working with numbers, it is the perfect carrier for my qualities, traits and ambitions.
Q3. What are your greatest strength’s ?
Ans. I am a strong researcher and ensure i identifying emerging trends and opportunities in the Financial sector.
I place a heavy emphasis on compliance and ensure all work is legal, ethical and client focused.
Other Strengths include my ability to sell my employer products. I achieve my targets by thoroughly learning the company’s financial products and services and asking clients relevant questions to ascertain their goals before creating tailored solutions.
Finally, perhaps my strength is Collaboration. Although we all work independently as Financial Advisors I am team player at heart and will share knowledge with everyone in the company and will create ideas to increase market share by attracting new clients.
Q4. Talk me through your prospecting process as a Financial Advisor ?
Ans. I process a 5 step process when prospecting clients –
- It empowers me to consider how to approach and reach the client’s my employer’s products and services will be better suited to.
- I decide what separates me from other Financial Advisors in terms of reputation, track record, awards and recognition, experience and success stories. To sell my services effectively a client must feel they can trust me and step 2 will enable me to achieve their trust quickly.
- I utilize multiple outreach channels including networking, social media and email marketing.
- I will publish useful and informative content online to demonstrate to prospects that I am active, knowledgeable and have best interest at heart.
- I will follow up quickly with new leads and while communicating with prospects i will highlight my unique value proposition, expertise and how i can ensure that they can meet their Financial Goals.
Q5. What is your biggest weakness ?
Ans. My biggest weakness is that i find it difficult to delegate. This is because i have been used to work independently as Financial Advisor. however, i understand that working for a large organization it is essential to spread the work or case work to other Financial Advisors to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
