Navigating a Neighborhood Conflict: Lessons Learned

Hi All 🙂 I hope you all are fine. I am going to discuss how my day went today. I had a great day start but end is not that good.

Today was Sunday – i woke up around 9:15 AM with my Dog Bruno, i gave him his food. I did my stretching and Yoga for 20 minutes, I had my glass of warm water with Apple Cider Vinegar and then I had my breakfast easy home cooked breakfast while talking to my family, It was a great conversation with my mom and dad.

I watched television for some time and in a mean time i put all the dishes in the dishwasher for wash and i watched television side by side. While the time passing i realized i have to go and take a shower and then went a temple as i go most of Sunday’s. I quickly took shower at half 12 and then left for temple at 1:15 PM. Its a 25 minutes journey by car, it was a great sunshine day. While i enjoyed my drive , i reached temple and parked my car in the parking slot. I had a great time in the temple as i got a some peace away from all the honking and stressed from the life. I left the temple around half 2 and reached home by 3, gave the food to my dog he was hungry and he gave so many kisses. I am blessed to have a dog like him, they are adorable creature in the world.

As its a Sunday and bright sunny day outside as well i thought i should take my dog out for a walk and he would have a great view from the car and it would be a short picnic for both of us, so i grabbed him put him in the car and went to St. Stephen Garden, Dublin. The vibe was so cool and it was great to have time spent with my 4 month old puppy. I did some meditation and he played there on the grass so we both had a great time with each other.

After that as it was Sunday so as usual we both went for shopping and did some grocery and came home by half 5. I unpacked all my grocery and had my evening tea, watched television and my dog slept for almost 1 hour. When he wake he went out in the balcony and pee there which he usually does.

So here the story comes, i had my neighbour she is a foreign national so dont know how she took the video of my dog’s pee which was coming from my balcony to her balcony.

She knocked my door and she started shouting and screaming at me, i was very polite and respecting her. She started threatening me that if dog pee again he will complain about me to the landlord. Although she has a dog too and her dog pee a lot in her balcony too. But the thing is – this is how you know how the other person is.

If i am her and if something happen like that i would inform the other person politely and request please take care of your puppy. It was so cheap that she was asking money for her slippers as some pee dropped to her slippers. I mean how can the other person be so cheap seriously. I am feeling so upset that this is how her upbringing is and this is how she is. Anyway first thing i will do is go to a pet shop and buy some artificial grass and cover my balcony so that the pee would not dropped.

It was a very simple request that she could ask me probably and i can handle this politely too but you know sometime people just came to give you some lessons, and our work is just learn the lesson and move on.

I hope tomorrow she will not make any other trouble for me.
